We are on the lookout for a new member for the Encompass Africa team. You can be a travel administrator preferring to work behind the scenes or an Africa travel specialist.

Our team is intensely in love with Africa and shares this infatuation with our guests by conceptualising and creating incredible tailored journeys amongst Africa’s wilderness and wildlife.  With a passion for conservation, our team also contributes to efforts in Africa designed to save critically endangered species and protect wilderness areas and build strong communities.

YOU

Your strongest feature will be your passion, experience and “on the ground” knowledge of Africa, the wilderness, wildlife and the logistics of Africa travel.

On the sales side, converting enquiries to sales, tailoring incredible Africa experiences with each discerning guest’s unique requirements will be your craft. Your sales methodology will be first rate.

With a genuine eye for precise detail, no itinerary leaves your hands until every element is checked and re-checked. 

For the sales role and/or administrator role –

Flight management expertise using Galileo is imperative because like our name suggests, our service encompasses every element of a holiday to Africa.

You will embrace technology, digital and social media and truly understand its value and utilise it within your role.

You pride yourself on after sales care, taking the time to ensure guests have everything they need for an effortless and truly unforgettable holiday to Africa.

AFRICA TRAVEL SPECIALIST

You will build dynamic relationships with guests and follow the company’s successful sales process and approach, to create unique holiday proposals with high conversion rate.

You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills ideal for liaising with our discerning guests

You’ll be a pro at building compelling connections with guests and developing positive relationships with our partners to ensure outstanding service.

A quick learner, you’ll pick up and run easily with our systems and processes that allow you to successfully tracking the progress of all guests at every stage of the journey.

Managing budgets is a cinch for you and you thrive on being accountable for guest costings (ensuring margins are met) all while providing maximum value to each guest’s experience.

Your first month’s objectives will include:

  • Learning our process and approach
  • Designing breathtaking safari itineraries
  • Taking on new enquiries
  • Coordinating  flight reservations and quotes in Galileo

Year 1 and beyond offers boundless opportunities, including, but not limited to

  • Researching and writing articles for use on the company website and social media
  • Developing and delivering professional presentations at future promotional events
  • Travel opportunities around Africa with the possibility of representing the company at international meetings, conventions, conferences and trade shows

ADMINISTRATOR

Are you an enthusiastic and dynamic individual with a passion for travel and exceptional organisational skills? Do you thrive in a role where you are the linchpin, ensuring seamless operations and outstanding client experiences? If so, we want you to be our new Administrator!

As our Administrator, you will be the heart of our operations, connecting team members, clients, and partners to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow. You’ll be the first point of contact for our guests and visitors, both over the phone and in person. Your role is crucial in maintaining our luxurious office environment and supporting the team in various administrative and guest services tasks.

Key responsibilities:

Guest and visitor interaction: Warmly welcome visitors, manage team diaries, set up for events, and ensure a fabulous luxury presentation at all times.

Communication: Answer telephone calls, manage office emails, and maintain filing systems and office supplies.

Client liaison: Interact with clients post-booking to answer questions, assist with upselling additional arrangements, and book flights via Galileo.

Documentation and invoicing: Prepare invoices, receipts, and travel documentation with precision and care.

Event co-ordination: Organise and coordinate events, ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish.

What We’re Looking For:

Galileo expertise: Proven experience using Galileo is essential.

Initiative and common sense: Demonstrated ability to use initiative and common sense in various situations.

Communication and admin skills: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, solid administration experience and skills

Proactive attitude: A positive, can-do attitude with a proactive approach to tasks.

Adaptability: Enthusiastic and adaptable, with the ability to step in and assist wherever needed.

Composure under pressure: Ability to stay cool, maintain stable performance, and think clearly under pressure.
