Visiting the website
We record your browsing on the website to understand what Africa travel information is most useful. When guests sign up to our e-Newsletter, we record email addresses and names only. When enquiry forms are completed online, this information is protected and only used for the purpose of creating your holiday to Africa. At no time do we share your data gained from the website with third parties. If there has been a security breach compromising your data, we will notify you within 72 hours of first having become aware of the breach.

Information we collect
Encompass Africa may collect personal identification information from users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, fill out a form, respond to a survey, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site or through our services. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, mailing address, phone number. Users may, however, visit our site anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Encompass Africa currently collects information from people when they sign up online to our quarterly e-Newsletter and when enquiring about a safari holiday or downloading results from the questionnaire and resources on the e-library.To sign up to the Encompass Africa e-Newsletter, you are asked to provide your name and email address only. To enquire about a safari holiday using the full contact us form, we ask you to provide name, email address, telephone number and travel specific information such as number of travellers, ages, duration of holiday, city of departure (not actual address) and preferred travel style. At the point of booking, we collect more significant information from you including full names and passport numbers, frequent flyer numbers, travel insurance details including company provider and policy name and contact number. At the point of payment, we collect credit card information only over the phone and the majority of our guests choose the direct electronic funds transfer payment option.
How we use your information
We use your personal information solely for the purpose of:
• Designing and arranging bespoke holiday experiences tailored to your preferences.
• Communicating with you about your holiday plans, including providing quotes, itineraries, and booking confirmations.
• Responding to your enquiries or requests.

1 to personalise your customer service experience and ensure we provide the very best holiday (your information helps us to better respond to your individual holiday needs)

3 to improve guest service (your information helps us to more effectively respond to your customer service requests and support needs during the holiday research, booking and travel process)
4 to send periodic emails trip related. That is, your contact details are utilised when we need to contact and discuss anything pertaining to your African safari holiday
