Southern Africa Family Holiday – Watson family

Thanks to our wonderful guides who had unbelievable knowledge of the local areas and animals we had so many highlights. From lions with a kill, leopard with a kill, walking with rhinos, a rhino with it’s calf, herds of 50 plus elephants and so much more. We seemed to have something different and exciting everyday, from the big 5 to striped mongoose and the beautiful bird life. There was just so much that was great about this holiday. Africa itself is just an amazing place that everyone must visit in their life time. The scenery and people are awesome and then there is the animals. There is nothing like the thrill of a game drive or walk looking for animals and coming round a bend or over a hill not knowing what you are going to see.

The most special thing about our adventure was by far seeing the animals in their natural environment. Elephants, Giraffes, Lions, Zebras, Impala, Buffalo, Rhino, Leopard, Ostrich, Baboons, Warthog, Water Buck, Wildebeest, Eagles, Kudu the list just goes on and on. Also the interest the kids took in the animals and Africa itself, they just could not get enough and continually ask when we can go back. Limited or no internet was also a bonus.  Thank you to Jono and all the Encompass Africa team for making our holiday unbelievable, we all can’t wait to go back.
