Each Collection is a themed small-group journey led personally by a member of our team, not a contractor, not a third party. An Encompass Africa team member who has travelled, guided, lived, and loved across this continent and who is committed to ensuring every guest comes home different.

There is no such thing as just a holiday to Africa. We have watched it happen hundreds of times, across 24 countries and 17 years. People arrive expecting a holiday, they leave changed and come back different.

The Collections were created because we believe the best way to experience that change is through something you already love. When you travel with someone who shares your passion—for photography, for adventure, for wild places nobody has found yet, Africa reveals itself in ways a standard itinerary simply cannot reach.Every Collection is led by a member of our team. Someone who has spent years living, guiding, and exploring across this continent and who brings their whole self to every journey they lead.

Every journey is led by a member of the Encompass Africa team. Not a third party. Not a contractor. One of us. This is our promise, and it does not change.

Flexible by design.
While our Collections are set dates and itineraries, every collection can run as a private journey for your group with one of us accompanying you should our dates not suit.  Tell us Our Collections run on set dates with carefully crafted itineraries, but every journey can also run as a private experience for your group, with one of our team accompanying you. If our dates don’t suit, just ask. We’ll find the right fit.
