Overall the trip was of course a fantastic experience! In short, the highlight would be the Serengeti – waking up to the wildebeest migrating 50m from the our tent is probably a once in a lifetime experience!
The weather wasn’t an issue and didn’t impact the trip at all. And room changing also was not problem.
Matemwe beach was beautiful in Zanzibar. But admittedly Dean was a little disappointed with the diving.
It is clear that marine life is being fished and taken from the reef in an unsustainable manner, and Dean didn’t see the abundance of marine life he expected, and so I didn’t end up going snorkelling.
