Having a private 4×4 throughout Tanzania’s Northern Circuit, really made our trip. We were able to see the animals while on safari in the Serengeti, Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Park with a great guide and all at our own pace, watching as long as we like. At Manyara we had a family of elephants stampede in front of our 4×4 then immediately after a troop of over 50 baboons run down beside our vehicle and we didn’t have to share these experiences with anyone else.

Namibia was on our minds for quite some time. We tried to do it ourselves but kept coming up with obstacles and so we chose Encompass Africa to put it all together for us and boy am I glad we did. Every logistic worked effortlessly. From the moment we arrived our private naturalist Namibian guide was there and our private vehicle was brilliant.

Every creature comfort taken care of – comfortable seats, air conditioning which you need in the heat, an esky with refreshments, binoculars, resource books and to top it off such a knowledgeable guide he was like an encycolopedia. Thank you Danica for taking such good care of us and time getting it exactly right.

Southern Tanzania impressed us beyond words. Being in an open sided 4×4 with a highly professional and witty guide we had such a rewarding safari holiday. Even better being the only people in the vehicle with our friends so we went wherever the wildlife took us and lingered longer than normal to really enjoy and savour the moments.
