Namibia desert fly-overs are one of the best ways to see the ancient deserts deep in the heart of Namibia. Be it by light aircraft or hot air balloon… you choose!

You’ll soar high over the spectacular dunes of Sossusvlei and the greater Namib Desert. It’s unbelievable to think that the dunes actually move each day, after all, it’s just a mass of loose sand formed in mounds. When the wind picks up, the grains get blown up the windward side of a dune until they reach the top and then drop down the other side! It’s this continued action that actually moves the dunes ever so slowly across the landscape.
