Planning a safari shouldn't feel like work

Let’s face it, planning a trip to Africa can be overwhelming. Endless online research, clashing opinions, and AI-generated itineraries that miss the mark… it’s easy to feel lost before you’ve even begun.

At Encompass Africa, we’re your personal safari specialists, real humans who live and breathe Africa. We take the stress and guesswork out of planning so you can focus on the fun part: dreaming big.


Your journey, our process

 

Step 1: Safari briefing

We start with a conversation to understand your travel style, interests, and wishlist. This is your time to share your ideas,  and our time to listen.


Step 2: Look book and proposal

Next, we create your personalised Look Book to inspire you about what’s possible based on our safari briefing. Meanwhile the magic is happening behind the scenes. We’re liaising with camps, properties and guides to seek availability and craft your tailored itinerary,  the first of two complimentary proposals designed just for you.


Step 3: Time to book

Once you’re happy, we make it official. A 30% deposit secures your land arrangements, and flights booked through us are paid in full upfront.
You’ll also receive a secure link to submit your traveller information, one form per adult.

We can’t confirm your trip until we’ve received your deposit and completed forms.


Step 4: Ready, set, safari

Your final balance is due 90 days before departure. Then, 2 weeks before you travel, you’ll receive the travel documentation that has pick up times, service providers, contact info and more — so you can travel with total peace of mind. Please note we don’t provide print outs these days, rather PDF documentation that is emailed to you.

You’ll have full access to your itinerary and loads of other helpful travel information via your private Guest Portal and the Encompass Africa app, with everything at your fingertips wherever you are.
