Joe and Dana Tsamaidis took their three teenagers on a family holiday to Africa that included time in cosmopolitan Cape Town, an unforgettable safari in Hwange, Zimbabwe, and a beach escape in Mauritius. Here’s what they had to say when they got back…

Bomani was beyond all possible imaginings – we are speechless. Our guide there, Aubz, was stupendous – we shed some tears leaving him! I’m sure to cry when we speak on the phone because I am so so moved by your care and kindness putting this family holiday to Africa together.
We met the owner of Bomani and he showed us a slideshow about its origins and its impact on the community. It brought the experience to a whole new level – the children have even resolved to return to volunteer here.

Our son was initially annoyed at us for having to come along on this family holiday to Africa and miss training for state championships. Toward the evening of the first game drive I felt him plant a kiss on me and say ‘Mum this is amazing, I feel so lucky, thank you.’
