We are often asked what to expect each day if you book onto one of our Photographic Safari Tours with Michael Snedic.
Small groups to guarantee great results. Michael prefers working with a group of 8 maximum. This way, he can ensure everybody has time with him for one-on-one help.
The smaller the group the more intimate the wildlife sightings too and it means we can use smaller camps in remoter locations away from the crowds.
We get off the beaten track and away from the crowds because who likes seeing other people when you’re seeking remote Africa?
Our locations are chosen for the incredible scenery, interactive cultural experiences and rewarding wildlife and wilderness.
Now just because we go “remote” doesn’t mean we compromise on quality or comfort.
You travel in comfort – mostly exclusive use vehicles and charter planes because we prefer to spend more time photographing than travelling from place to place.
Accommodation is always wonderful. We prefer the smaller properties away from big hotels that attract big noise, loads of people and set times for everything. Staying in smaller camps and lodges means we can focus on immersing in the location and enjoy what’s around us.
Adventure awaits on many of the tours because we like to organise a diversity of photographic experiences. This can be a doors-off helicopter flight over the Okavango Delta, off roading and early access permits to guarantee the best shots in morning light.
The trips are great for young and old! We also have loads of solo travellers come along because we can try to organise room sharing to keep your costs down. Couples often come where only one likes photography. The other gets to experience Africa at a brilliant pace with private guide and photographer and without the crowds. Of course you’ll pick up photographic tips along the way – it’s hard not to.
