Mighty Africa Safari with friends – Sade

Our thanks for

the very best safari with friends

Good morning Jonathon. We’re home now from our epic Africa trip with our friends the Unsworths and wanted to drop a quick note and say what a wonderful time we had. Everything went seamlessly, you were right the people on the ground make or break the trip and you choose partners well!  Every detail in the itinerary was delivered always with a smile and the camps and lodges were well selected for a true diversity of experiences from hotels on the Crater rim to tented canvas in the Serengeti. As friends we travel well together and you totally understood our need for some down time and own experiences as separate couples, so thank you.

We shared many a story around the campfire and it was just like camping holidays as a kid, but in the African bush. Wildlife sounds still wiz around my ears and I misconstrue traffic for trumpeting elephants, long may that live on in my head.

And now the adventure we had. Where does one start?  Tiger fishing, boating safaris, canoeing in Mana Pools with the very best river guide, walking safaris, 4×4 safaris in the Selous, Serengeti and Hwange. Big Five, little five, birds beyond belief and the smaller things like termite nests, golden orb spiders and my wife’s favourites, elephants and giraffes.

I must say what was supposed to be a tick against the bucket list has actually had the reverse effect and lengthened the list by a handful of countries we now want to visit in Africa with your help one day. Namely Namibia for its vastness we hear and of course the Okavango Delta.  Madagascar has me intrigued too.

Job well done Encompass Africa. You understood what we wanted as a group of friends and delivered perfectly exceeding each of our expectations. Thank you and we will send people your way and come back ourselves one day.
