Our guide to
Small Group Tours Africa
Set off with others.
Considering a group tour in Africa? Group tours or scheduled safaris and safari tours have set departure dates and set pricing. These tours typically run with a minimum of between two and four guests depending on the itinerary and we only recommend tours with a maximum of 12 people to maximise enjoyment.
Your guide travels with you for the duration of the tour and you have like minded people for the whole safari sharing the adventure. The type of accommodation and transport varies depending on the safari you choose. In Southern Africa and East Africa, most of the scheduled safaris combine lodge and tented camps so you get a diversity of experiences. There are some that are purely lodge based and others that are mobile camping.
Set departures are great for guests travelling solo in Africa or those who prefer to be with a group.
The secret is finding the ultimate tour that suits your interests in terms of destinations, experiences, time and budget. Remember we can tailor a pre-tour and post-tour itinerary to take in any safari holiday areas you miss on the tour or for an island or beach finale to your small group safari.
Below you will find some top tips plus examples of where you can explore on group tours in Africa. These are just a few of the outstanding selection we have on offer. See more of our tours listed out in the Tours section of our site. Click the button below.
