Have you heard of the Selous? It’s a stunning reserve in Southern Tanzania. One of the latest camps there is Roho Ya Selous. Its name means Heart of the Selous’ in Swahili.
This is a fantastic addition to the Southern Safari Circuit of Tanzania and the property offers magical views of the Rufiji River and surrounding wilderness not to mention knock out accommodation and impressive wildlife.
Did you know the Selous Reserve was declared a UNESCO World heritage site in 1982? It is home to one of Africa’s largest Wild Dog populations and the Big 5 (Elephant, Rhino, Lion, Leopard and Buffalo)
