Bridget and Peter Quirk were looking to take their three children to Africa over the Christmas school holidays to explore Southern Africa, enjoy lots of activities and experience a range of safari camps so we created an itinerary that explored Southern Africa over 20 nights taking in Kruger, the stunning Panorama Route, Victoria Falls, a few days on a houseboat meandering along the Chobe River, before a second safari in the Okavango Delta and a finale in the Kalahari with meerkats, bushmen and activities abound.

Every camp you suggested was ideal for our needs and our budget. The combination of safari activities were unparalleled and other travellers we encountered agreed. Unlike other travellers who were finding themselves on simply game drives day after day, we had a fantastic combination of 4×4, walking, mokoro, motor boat cruises and even horse back safaris – the thrill of being on horse back among a herd of hundreds of zebra and wildebeest was amazing!
Each and every lodge and camp were on unsurpassed concessions and our wildlife viewing was a pure joy. The lodges and camps were comfortable beyond our expectations, and the quality of guiding first class. I do not want to think about the extra kilos we brought home because of the great food.

When not on safari your suggested hotels were in themselves very wonderful experiences and excellent choices to rest and revive ourselves before the next safari.
Every transfer, whether by car or small plane and every private tour was like clockwork and with excellent drivers, pilots and guides. We were also very taken by the Airlink flights we had within Southern Africa, and the close proximity they placed us to our safari destinations. The excellence of the ground arrangements made for both a relaxed and awesome holiday all in one – a rare combination.
