Africa scares some people. It’s the great unknown, far away, wild, unpredictable. But perhaps it should be the opposite, because once you go, you realise it has a magnetic pull unlike anywhere else on Earth.
It’s a land of contrasts and surprises, twists and turns in landscapes, history, culture, and wildlife. Yes, there’s poverty, but there’s also hope, resilience, and the electric excitement of waking with the African sunrise.
One day you’re in Cape Town, racing to the window hoping for a clear sky so you can summit Table Mountain. The next, you’re waking before dawn for a game drive, heart pounding, in search of the lions you heard roaring through the night. A few days later you find yourself in the rainforest up close with mountain gorillas.
Sometimes you’re simply driving to the airstrip and find yourself in a traffic jam of elephants and hundreds of wildebeest and zebra. Or you stumble across a Maasai wedding celebration, witnessing a rite of passage few outsiders ever get to see.
Sure, you’ll have a bucket list, but Africa shouldn’t just be 1 item on your checklist. Venturing to Africa is a journey. From the moment we start planning with you, the adventure begins: inspiration boards, your personalised Look Book, stunning imagery and videos that ignite your wanderlust.
But as the movie Blood Diamond reminds us: TIA, Danny boy. This is Africa. Anything can happen.
We can’t promise perfect wifi, or that you’ll see the ‘Big Five’, or even a single lion – wildlife live to the beat of their own drum and weather of course. But we can promise that you’ll come home changed, inspired, and probably already planning your next trip back, because if Africa bites, you’ll never shake the bug.
Take it from our long-time clients Tony and Kerrie, who’ve travelled to Africa nearly ten times in 15 years. Or Dave and his wife Megan who’ve done two trips now and keen to go again!
“Africa gets hold of you. You can visit the Eiffel Tower and it’s going to be exactly the same every time you go. Whereas when you get on the back of a safari vehicle in Africa, you just never know what’s going to be around the corner. Anything could happen – and it usually does. That’s what I love about it: the unexpected. That’s my idea of a holiday.”

TIA… come see for yourself.
