Want to know more? Here we go…
Samara Private Game Reserve is located in the Great Karoo region near a quaint town called Graaff-Reinet. Here you will be privvy to big open skies and spectacular landscapes not to mention abundant wildlife. And the romance of the bush just got better as they have launched their new Milky Way Star Bed Experience.
Imagine a platform with mountains as your backdrop. You climb a few stairs and are presented with a four poster bed draped in mosquito nets (although this is not a malaria area, mosquitos can still be annoying and take away the romance). A lovely simple seating area allows you to relax with a drink in hand and watch the wildlife come to drink from the river before you! There is a canvas roof that can be put up in case the weather is slightly drab. And you can expect comfort with luxurious soft sheets, mohair blankets, warm dressing gowns, slippers and bathroom facilities.
On safari at Samara you have the opportunity to explore 70,000 acres of wilderness with 60 mammal species including aardvark, cheetah, cape mountain zebra, giraffe, black and white rhino, eland, gemsbok and buffalo to name a few.
Combines well with…
This is an awesome property and combines beautifully with Cape Town and the Garden Route and if you self drive the freedom of exploration is all yours.
