New accommodation in Entebbe

There is some fantastic news out of Uganda with the addition of new accommodation in Entebbe. Hotel No. 5 is now open and it’s a rather slick option. Imagine a stylish boutique hotel with real charm. You arrive and will be warmly welcomed and well cared for here. There are only ten luxury rooms and five self catering apartments that open onto the garden and swimming pool area. It is a really good option for those seeking an intimate stay somewhere peaceful.

You will find a lovely lounge and dining area that serves great food from a carefully planned menu and paired with an international wine list. There is the swimming pool, gardens and spa treatments on offer. For those not wanting to miss an opportunity, you can use the hotel gym.

Located just ten minutes from Entebbe airport, this is a great option for the start of your safari.

There are a number of activities in the area if you choose to stay a night or two, from the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (where you get the Chimpanzee Up Close programme, a behind the scenes visit, Keeper for the Day program or a guided tour with the Keeper) to the Mabamba Swamp cruise, ideal for bird watchers.
