“We had a totally amazing time!! My favourite bit was Zambia!I absolutely loved going back there! The airport was as exactly as I remember it :)The accomodation was A1 – Latitude. Would recommend it to others for sure 🙂
Then on to South Luwangwa. Well this place completely exceeded our expectations – Flat Dogs was brill! Our tents were perfect – right next to the river and looking out straight onto an elephant crossing.
Zimbabwe was amazing also and extremely happy with the accomodation Batonka was perfect!
Onwards to Botswana. The safari and our guide were once again absolutely brilliant. We had a guide who’d had been guiding for 25+ years. The food was such a surprise ! How good could it be just from a simple campfire!! I really enjoyed the change of accomodation … completely off grid was an experience !
Now on to the last leg …..and this was still a surprise for the girls – about the horse riding!
Ants Nest: The guiding was once again completely top class. Highlights were seeing the rhinos wonder past as we are sitting around the pool! And just riding horses on safari! We got up very close to all the animals but I had a baby zebra who came right up to my horse! All our guides were brilliant and our host Fred was delightful and very careful with his planning.
We also had 2 other families (from the UK) that we hit it off with!! It was great sharing our lives and stories over breakfast and diner! Superbly ran place!”
