Dreaming of an exotic destination for your honeymoon holiday? Zanzibar is always top of our list and combines well with an East Africa safari in Kenya or Tanzania. It’s also easy to add on 4 nights in Rwanda and experience a gorilla trek in the Volcanoes National Park.
Baraza Resort & Spa Zanzibar is one of our favourite honeymoon resorts and was recently featured in the latest Signature Magazine (Issue 11). Gail from our office is lucky enough to be spending a week on Zanzibar inspecting the latest developments on the island and staying at some new properties and our favourites, including Baraza!
Exciting news came through of a new development due to open in December this year and Gail will be one of the first to visit and stay in November!

Inside the villas you’ll find extreme comfort with an ‘intimate area’ consisting of bedroom and bathroom separated from the living room and kitchen by an exotic garden with terrace and swimming pool. Both edifices face the sea front so you can enjoy the perfect setting for your Zanzibar honeymoon.

A therapeutic spa is also being established on the property and expert therapists will look after you with care and indulge you in many treatments using the local spices and salts from the island.
About Paje Beach, Zanzibar
Further away from the main ‘diving sites’ in the north east, Paje is located further south with perhaps better clear white strips of sandy beaches with the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. Thanks to flat shallow waters and a premium spot protected by the reef, Paje has become a world class spot for both beginner and advanced kite surfers.
More on Zanzibar coming soon…
